Rickey's
Golden Image is a 10 month old gelding. His coloring and markings
make this little guy beautiful in every move he takes. He is sorrel, with a flaxen
mane and tail, and he's all lit up, with four white stockings and a
blaze. He is very gentle, with a great disposition, and model conformation.
This
colt is part Arabian and part Tennessee Walker, mostly Tennessee Walker
as his Dam is part Arabian and part Walker, and his sire is purebred
Walker. Rickey is from old
time TWH bloodlines, - Merry
Boy, High Time D.T. and on the Arabian side, Black Raffsim, and
Ramara. This guy is so gorgeous
that you would love to have him for your own.
He has had very little work, but within a few minutes for a couple
of days, he led easily, and turned to people as friends, and applies
himself just the way you want. It only took about 15 minutes to get
him to understand the halter, and how to lead, and he has been trailered.
He
is registered in the Part Tennessee Walking Horse Registry.
Rickey’s Dam was purchased when she was 3, “High
Dawn’s Raisin” part
walker and part Tennessee Walker. The
breeding was done by the former owner who had Tennessee Walkers, and her daughter
who raises Arabians. This
combination became a very popular mixture for this family in selling
horses, and we have found it to be an excellent combination for
conformation, gait, head and riding pleasure.
